He Hākari Kōrero: A Feast of Stories

Heritage is reframed as a living feast experienced through listening, sensing and exchange. Participants engage with natural materials, listen, and reflect in this one-hour kōrero grounded in the whakapapa of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, exploring traditional and contemporary approaches to kai, including kūmara cultivation, seasonal rhythms, and relationships with the whenua.

The session culminates in the resonant sound of the pūkaea.
