Afternoon Tea with Bullmore

Join us for afternoon tea to celebrate the upcoming exhibition TWENTY, with Curator Dr. Penelope Jackson, on Tue 6 Oct, 4–5.30pm.

The exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of the Edward Bullmore collection at Toi Tauranga Art Gallery.TWENTY will celebrate and acknowledge the twentieth anniversary of the Edward Bullmore gift to Tauranga Art Gallery. Twenty works will explore Bullmore’s artistic journey from his boyhood in Southland, his teaching days in Tauranga, artistic heyday in London and his final years in Rotorua.

Working across a variety of media, Bullmore secured his reputation in London during the 1960s, but New Zealand was always at the very core of his life and work, as reflected in the gallery’s outstanding collection.
